How has the ADA impacted your life regarding travel/mobility, education, employment, or any other aspect?

The ADA has allowed me to pursue a high-quality education and reach my full potential thus far. Additionally, this landmark legislation has enabled me to fully participate in life’s adventures including travel.

Can you share a “before and after” experience; e.g., before the ADA I couldn’t do X or was denied access to Y, and thanks to the ADA I can do Z.

I cannot imagine what life would have been like without the ADA. I was not born before the ADA, but if I lived during the earlier times, I would have flown under the radar. I am deeply thankful for the tremendous impacts of the ADA, and hope that more unique people will reach endless possibilities.

What advances in disability rights would you like to see in the next 30 years?

In the next 30 years, I hope to see more inclusive work environments where companies are more diverse in terms of their workforce. I also want society to recognize that disability rights are human rights. While it is difficult to eliminate discrimination altogether, it must be reduced drastically.
