How has the ADA impacted your life regarding travel/mobility, education, employment, or any other aspect?

Aps like JAWS and Voiceover have had the most impact on my employment. I enjoy Braille menus and voice information at street crossings.

Can you share a “before and after” experience; e.g., before the ADA I couldn’t do X or was denied access to Y, and thanks to the ADA I can do Z.

I am a retired lawyer, and am currently trying to start a copywriting business. The things that have had the most liberating effect on my abilities have been voice synthesis. I do like the fact that Dominos had to make their phone services accessible. I love the talking book program, and Book share.

What advances in disability rights would you like to see in the next 30 years?

I would like to see all web sites become accessible, and all scanned materials be accessible. JAWS does a good job of translating most of them, but there are still some that cannot be translated.
