It has provided me scaffolding resources and support that enabled me regain a role in life after my illness.
Can you share a “before and after” experience; e.g., before the ADA I couldn’t do X or was denied access to Y, and thanks to the ADA I can do Z.
Thanks to the ADA, I was provided with access to counseling, rehabilitation support, and services/support that enabled me to go back to school and learn new ways of taking care of myself.
What advances in disability rights would you like to see in the next 30 years?
More awareness of so-called hidden illnesses.
