Andy Pandy's Little Goat from Jean

An odd choice for an adult, but that is the very first book I ever owned! I vividly recall my older sister snuggling me and reading it aloud. As far as I can recall, the story described the exciting story of the time a little boy named Andy Pandy lost his pet goat and found it again, in 6 (or maybe 8) pages of short and simple words, accompanying some cutesy pictures depicting the action. I clearly recall my bitter disappointment when the last page was turned and the story ended, leaving me with a forever unquenchable thirst for books. Ever since, I’ve read all sorts of books – most of them enjoyable. That one little book opened up the world of words to one ravenous little girl with big dreams.
