Secrets of a Charmed Life from Leslie

My favorite book is one I’m reading right now. Secrets of a Charmed Life. It’s about a 90-year-old lady who is interviewed by a college student about her World War II adventures going through the blitz in 1940. I’ve never read such drama and high emotion. I’m saying this even before I’ve finished the book. My other favorites are by Gwen Bristow and R.F. Delderfield. In all three of these choices, the characters jump right out of the page at you and you wish you could meet every one of them. They are my friends and I go back to them every few years and read their stories again.
